This was achieved through large‑scale purchases of certified materials under a mass‑balance regime and segregated materials, thereby reducing dependence on primary fossil resources.

Sustainability investments grew year‑on‑year by 20% and more than tripled compared with 2022. Lego significantly expanded solar capacity, invested in geothermal energy, and entered new power‑purchase agreements (PPAs) for renewable electricity.

Total greenhouse‑gas emissions remained virtually unchanged (+0.2%), while emission intensity relative to revenue declined.

At the same time, the company experienced a record year commercially — revenue grew by 12% to DKK 83.5 billion, operating profit rose by 18% to DKK 22 billion. In 2025 Lego launched a record 860 products to market.
